Imagine how delighted your furry friend would be to find a little
sweet treat tucked inside one of the balls. Arnold is partial
to yogurt drops, but papaya
or mango are yummy choices too! Sugar gliders will
stay occupied for quite awhile once they have discovered there are
hidden treasures inside a vine ball!
The Grapevine Ball Orbit Dangler toy is a brilliantly colorful
toy, enhanced by a sweet little liberty bell dangling from the
bottom. The Grapevine Ball Alien Dangler toy has the silhouette
of a four-legged creature, but its big round "head" has no
eyes, ears or mouth - yikes! Each of the four "legs"
has three grapevine balls that your sugar glider can pounce on, bat
at, or forage for those little stealth treats. The various
sizes of grapevine balls, together with all the wood pieces, make this toy
a treat to explore!
The orbit dangler toy contains six jewel-toned grapevine balls about the diameter of a quarter.
Each ball is separated by a vibrant-colored wooden disk about the size of a silver dollar.
The diameter of the toy is roughly 4 inches, with a 1-inch 'dangly' bell on the bottom and our standard-sized
nickel-plated pear clip (just over 1 inch long) on top.
The alien dangler toy has a total of 13 grapevine balls in a
neutral tone. All the balls are about the diameter of a
quarter, with the exception of the "alien head", which is
about twice the size of the other balls. Overall, this toy is
about 7" long at its longest point, from the top of the clip to the
bottom of the lowest ball. Between each ball is a bright
jewel-toned wood rectangle, measuring about 1/2 inch x 1-1/2 inches.
Just below the clip is a small wooden ball; and just above the large
top ball is another rectangular wood piece. Separating the
'head' and 'legs' is a horizontal wooden rod, measuring about 3-1/2
inches in width with a 1/2-inch diameter.
As always, the safety of our furry friends comes first. The dangler
toys are strung
on a stretchy plastic cord and you needn't worry about any material toxicities.
When it comes to metal, we just can't say it enough: "if it ain't nickel, you could be in a pickle".
All the metals - clips, wires, bells - are nickel-plated. And
the pretty colors on the wood and vine balls are all created from USDA glider-safe dyes.
Both toys can be attached to the top or side of a cage and are a great complement to other in-cage toys like the Wodent
Wheel, Rope Toy, or Swing
Thing.
