Thanks to our resident poet for providing a most lovely rendition of a bedtime lullaby?  For our sugar glider holiday toy???  Without getting into all of the details of "company politics", this very cute holiday star reminds Arnold of a mobile in a baby nursery because of the tiny little pacifiers dangling from the tip of each toy. So there you have it.

We "hoomans" are more inclined to think of this as just a cute, simple holiday star at a great price, but what do we know?  Santa Arnold knows best!

This simply delightful toy contains two stars made from braided vine.  Other materials include the aforementioned plastic pacifiers hanging from darling little plastic shapes, a tiny wooden ball and a single nickel-plated steel pear clip.  As always, all materials are pre-screened AND pre-approved for sugar glider safety.  As that big credit card company used to say, "priceless"!

Like your suggies, this toy is petite.  From end to end, the green "background" star measures 4", and the yellow "inner" star 2".  Each pacifier measures about 3/4" each and hangs from a plastic-shaped oval, star or heart - SO cute!  A piece of natural vine braiding secures a tiny red wood ball through the center of the stars.

Literally AND figuratively, there are no bells or whistles on this little rig.  It's just a cute-as-can-be, origami-esque little toy.  And it's sure to add some bright, holiday cheer to your favorite fuzzbutts' habitat with nary a pinch to the wallet!

The uber-eccentric Arnold dictated he'd have several stars adorning his habitat this year.  Nevertheless, this adorable toy is festive simplicity, very apropos for 2009.  It's also a nice complement to some of the other in-cage toys like the Wodent Wheel, Feather Teaser, or SwingThing.  If you're looking for a larger symbol of the holiday spirit, you might want to check out the Ball-Star Wreath.
