Trimming Sugar Glider Nails

1. Start with a firm grip, not a squeeze! Use a towel
and keep the head away from your hand to avoid biting.
2. Gently grab the leg you would like to
clip. Always keep a close watch not to clip too close to the vein.
3. Notice the palm of the hand is keeping
gentle but firm control of the glider, applying gentle pressure to keep
the glider still and safe.

and position the clipper on the nail.
5. A close-up showing where to clip the
nail. Keep a firm grip and take your time.
6. If you are not sure where the vein
starts just clip the tip of the nail; don't go deep.
