We have sugar gliders for sale and available to go to new homes!  Please contact Sales to get top priority on our sweet, healthy sugar babies.  This is our busy season, so get your reservation made and we will guarantee availability for you with a small deposit.  We are licensed by both the USDA and the State of Florida Wildlife Commission, and have been raising and helping people care for sugar gliders online since 1999.

We don't have sugar gliders for sale in the online store because we want to talk with you first about sugar glider ownership and make sure you are ready.  Then we will arrange to meet you locally for sugar glider pick ups, or we ship your glider(s) to you using state of the art techniques.

Our sugar glider babies are just past weaning and trained to drink from a hamster type bottle.  We hold them and love them daily to keep them sweet, tame, and easier to bond with.  If you don't already own sugar gliders, we will only accept orders for two or more sugar gliders (they really need to be with their own kind).  We take orders for one sugar glider only from homes with at least one sugar glider at home already.

One normally colored (gray with black stripe) baby glider sells for $175; colored sugar gliders are more expensive.  Sugar gliders are so much happier when they have glider companions and it's really the best way to keep them; we feel strongly about keeping sugar gliders with their friends.  They are colony animals in the wild and Nature made them to be with their own kind - we should honor their true nature.  Same sex joey pairs will be just as happy as male / female pairs, and our male / female pairs are guaranteed to be unrelated.

You may ask yourself why our prices on sugar gliders are so much less than the pet stores or mall sellers.  Well, it's really pretty simple.  These joeys are all raised or nurtured here at SunCoast, so there's no middleman!  The most important thing to us is to find good, well-qualified homes for our sweet babies ... Arnold would never forgive us if we let something like money become the guiding principle here.

If during your search you have seen web sites screaming ""Do NOT buy a Sugar Glider before reading these FREE reports" or "Thinking about BUYING a Sugar Glider?" you should realize these web sites are operated by or influenced by a large franchise organization that sells sugar gliders on impulse in malls and at events.  More info on these web sites here.  If you believe the "gliders are easy to care for" and "just feed them pellets and a slice of apple" info these people offer, we just ask you be open to a different opinion when you call or email us, and be willing to learn the proven husbandry practices we've used since 1999.  If you can accept our best practices for health and longevity of sugar gliders, (see Thrive versus Survive approach), we'd be delighted to work with you.  We know our practices work exceedingly well, over many generations of sugar gliders.

Neutering service is available for $50.  Your local vet probably charges $175 - $200, perhaps more or less.  For more on the decision to own male or female gliders, click here.

Sugar gliders do have some rare color variations and we maintain separate "as available" reservation lists for these very special sugar gliders.  White tipped gliders (click here for picture) are $300.  White face gliders (click here for picture) are $400 - $600, depending on the sex and genetic (family) history of the particular sugar glider.

SAVE MONEY!  COMBINE SHIPMENTS!
Our shipping charges are per shipment not per animal - it is no more
expensive to ship more than one sugar glider.  If you know someone else who is interested in sugar gliders, share the shipping cost!

Shipping is available to all customers within the Continental U.S. (legal states only).  Our primary carriers are United Airlines (includes the former  Continental Airlines) and Delta.  We will choose the airline with the best and fastest transit time from us to you!  Shipping cost is $150 per
order, whether you buy one or more sugar gliders, which includes the cost of shipping, insurance, shipping kennel, and heat packs (if needed).  Airline counter to counter service is very fast (and VERY SAFE!).

Plus our guarantee:

We do guarantee you will receive healthy baby sugar gliders.  From the time you take possession of your new sugar gliders, there is a 72 hour "watch" period.  If anything - and we mean anything - seems out of sorts based on our discussions and information we have provided, simply contact Lisa by phone at 727-343-8577.  As long as we are working together to resolve the problem, this guarantee period will be extended indefinitely, until the problem is resolved.  Further, if we ask you to take one or both of the sugar gliders you purchased from us to the vet for examination, SunCoast Sugar Gliders will reimburse the vet bills up to the price paid for the sugar glider or replace your sugar glider.

We wish we could offer a longer guarantee, but so much of their welfare depends on you properly feeding and caring for them.  It is also very important that you identify a veterinarian experienced with sugar gliders as soon as possible before receiving your sugar gliders.  If I can not sufficiently identify any problems over the phone, I may recommend that you take the glider to a vet for a fecal exam immediately.  It is your responsibility to make sure that a good qualified vet is lined up!

With proper care and nutrition, your sugar glider will live a long and healthy life.  You can count on us to be there for you for the duration of your glider’s life span.  We are very proud of our track record for the after the sale support and encourage our customers to stay in touch, send us their pictures, ask questions, and share personal experiences.  We have learned much valuable information from the experiences of others and together with you, will build and maintain a supportive sugar glider community.

For a great package deal on items you may need to properly care for your sugar gliders, check out our starter kits.  If you have any questions on feeding and care, see what our vet has to say.  If you are wondering whether you can trust us and if we deliver on our promises,  just take a look at what our customers have to say.

Thanks for visiting our website and we look forward to hearing from you soon.  VIVA LA GLIDER! (long live Petaurus Breviceps)
